Terms of Service

These terms apply to Talverta recruiting services and the related Sovelanta scheduling service. They also explain the terms that will apply if optional text messaging becomes available.

Effective date: September 10, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using Talverta or Sovelanta, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use a service for a business, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.

2. Our services

Talverta provides recruiting, interview, candidate-management, scheduling, and email-communication tools. Talverta Hire is currently offered through limited early access. Sovelanta provides appointment scheduling, client-management, studio-management, reporting, and communication tools. Features may vary by availability and may change as the services develop.

Our services help businesses organize information and workflows. They do not make hiring decisions, provide legal or employment advice, determine worker classification, provide medical advice, or guarantee appointment, recruiting, financial, or business outcomes.

3. Accounts and authorized use

You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods, and promptly tell us about unauthorized access. Business owners and administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions and for activity performed through their accounts.

You may not misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with their operation, upload unlawful or harmful material, use them to violate privacy or communications laws, or send messages without the required permission.

4. Future SMS messaging terms

Text messaging is coming soon and is not part of the current Talverta Hire early-access service.

If text messaging becomes available, SMS consent will be optional and will not be required to apply, schedule, book, or purchase. Providing a mobile number alone will not enroll you.

Future text messages may include customer-care confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, or rescheduling notices. Applicable disclosures, message frequency, carrier-rate notices, and STOP and HELP instructions will be shown at the point of opt-in.

Businesses using future messaging tools will be responsible for obtaining consent, honoring communication choices, and sending only lawful messages that match the recipient’s permission.

5. Plans, billing, and payment

Talverta paid plans are not currently available for purchase. Prices shown on the public site describe planned future options and are not offers to subscribe. If paid plans become available, checkout terms, renewal details, taxes, limits, and any add-ons will be shown before purchase.

If future text messaging becomes available, carrier and messaging-provider charges may affect availability or allowances. We may limit, pause, or block messaging that appears unlawful, abusive, misleading, or inconsistent with applicable requirements.

6. Business and user responsibilities

Businesses are responsible for the information they collect, the decisions they make, their notices to candidates and clients, their hiring and appointment practices, and their compliance with applicable law. Users are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information they enter or send.

Candidate evaluations, client records, scheduling results, calculations, reports, and automated messages should be reviewed by an authorized person when appropriate.

7. Third-party services

The services may connect to email providers, calendar services, video-meeting services, and other third parties. Future paid or messaging features may also connect to payment processors and SMS providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Ownership and feedback

We and our licensors retain ownership of the services, software, designs, and related materials. You retain ownership of information you submit. You give us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that information to provide and protect the services.

If you provide feedback, we may use it to improve our products without owing compensation.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work to provide reliable services, but availability is not guaranteed. To the extent allowed by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Talverta and Sovelanta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when needed to protect the services or others, address nonpayment, comply with law, or respond to a material violation of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as our services or legal obligations change. Revised terms will be posted with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@talverta.com.
